Nothing is a waste of time if you can learn something from it. Make everyday a learning experience by analyzing and improving from mistakes.

Every wise person started out by asking many questions. Therefore kids should never be ashamed to ask questions no matter how simple. A good tutor can answer all questions without the sense of embarrassment in front of a large group.

You are not a failure because you didn’t make it. You are a success because you tried your best.

If your eating habits are unhealthy, your kids eating habits will be the same. Eat healthy and your kids will too.

What’s more important is your goal, rather than other people’s opinion of your goal.

Keep all drugs in medicine cabinets or other childproof cabinets that young children cannot reach.

Strap TVs and other large furniture to the wall with safety straps or L-brackets. This will prevent serious injury to young children. Many children are hurt every year because these unsecured heavy items topple over onto them.

Throughout the 4th of July weekend, please take a moment to thank a veteran and remember anyone that has served our country. Acknowledge the sacrifices these heroes have made to your children so they understand that there was a heavy price paid just so we could have the opportunity to celebrate another birthday of the United States of America.
