Some children misbehave and not realize they did anything wrong. It is important that you make them understand why and what they did was inappropriate.

It is important to talk to kids about bad behavior directly after it occurs. “Out of sight/out of mind” can happen when done too much later.

If you want your kids to not drink, smoke, do drugs, use foul language, be racist or sexist, then you must not do these behaviors yourself.
