Money raised will support professional growth and development opportunities for Thayer’s faculty, as well as TAPA programming that has a school-wide impact.
Underwood Elementary School Newton, MA
Y3K Tutor In Your Home recently donated tutoring and test preparation services to the Underwood Online Auction. Be sure to bid generously for the Newton, MA children. Our donation and your bids help the Underwood School PTO raise money to pay for teacher’s classroom supplies, project materials, important curriculum enrichment programs through the Creative Arts and Sciences program, technology purchases, and so much more. All of these items are integral to the children’s education at Underwood Elementary School. Without our donation and your bids, programs like these would not be available to the Newton students. It is our support that continues to make the Underwood Elementary School a special place.
Sudbury Tutoring – Haynes Elementary School

Y3K Tutor In Your Home tutoring Boston, Needham and the surrounding areas always gives back to the community. Again this year Y3K Tutor In Your Home has donated tutoring and test preparation services to the Sportsmen’s Tennis & Enrichment Center in Dorchester, MA. It is an honor to assist the children of Boston with our auction donation. Be sure to bid at the Sportsmen’s Tennis Ball – Living Their Dream this coming Friday.
Boston Area Rape Crisis Center
Boston Area Rape Crisis Center’s Champions for Change Gala & Auction will be taking place this Friday. Y3K Tutor In Your Home donated tutoring and test preparation services to the auction. This money raised will support the free services provided to over 5,000 survivors and family members each year. Also it will provide trainings and outreach to over 10,000 community members.
Keep the Promise Auction – Family Promise Metrowest
We are happy to announce that we again this year are donating Y3K Tutor In Your Home tutoring and test preparation to the Family Promise Metrowest Keep the Promise Auction. The money raised will go towards supporting their programs and services including case management, day care, transportation and job development for families.
Hillside School Calendar Raffle Winner
Y3K Tutor In Your Home donated several hours of tutoring and test preparation again this year to the Hillside School in Needham, MA for their annual Calendar Raffle. It is a pleasure to help the children of Needham and hope to donate more in the future. Giving Back to the Community
For the past 14 years Y3K Tutor In Your Home has frequently given back to the community. Now as we are into our 15th year in business, Y3K Tutor In Your Home will continue to show our appreciation to the community with donations. In addition to our annual collection drive for dogs and cats, we often donate to local fundraisers including schools, libraries, charities, youth sports, playgrounds, youth theater, temples, churches and scholarships.

Newton-Wellesley Hospital
There will be a silent auction for the Newton-Wellesley Hospital Annual Gala. This year’s event will help shed light on opioid and substance use disorders in our community. With the Y3K Tutor In Your Home auction donation, they will be able to support the launch of the Newton-Wellesley Hospital’s multidisciplinary service dedicated to preventing and treating substance use disorders.
Loring Elementary School
The Loring Parent Teacher Organization Auction Fundraiser will be held this coming Saturday. The event will be held at the Weston Country Club. There will be a Y3K Tutor In Your Home tutoring and test preparation certificate up for auction. The proceeds from the event support educational materials and enrichment activities that benefit the students ant the Israel Loring Elementary School in Sudbury, MA.
