Top 5 Math Programs Award – Y3K Tutor In Your Home
Y3K Tutor In Your Home recently won the 2021 Top 5 Math Programs Award by the Boston Parents Paper and featured in the 2021 Boston Parents Paper Family Favorites issue. A big thank you goes out to the thousands of people throughout Greater Boston and the Northeast that voted for us.
This year the voting for Boston’s Family Favorite Math Programs was in two-rounds. The first round was in March 2021 with open write-in nominations for favorite Math Programs. The second round began with the top nominee Math Programs being listed in this final round of voting during April 2021. Write-in nominations were no longer available, and voters selected their favorite Math Programs from those that advanced from round one. We are flattered that thousands of voters wrote Y3K Tutor In Your Home in round one and then chose us again in round two.

Y3K Tutor In Your Home made another donation of tutoring and test preparation services. This time it goes to the Thayer Academy Auction. Good luck bidding on our donation to help the Thayer Academy students. Money raised will support professional growth and development opportunities for Thayer’s faculty, as well as TAPA programming that has a school-wide impact.
Boston Tutoring
The Sportsmen’s Tennis and Enrichment Center in Boston, MA will be having their silent auction this coming Friday. If you attend the Dorchester event called The Sportsmen’s Tennis Ball, be on the lookout for the Y3K Tutor In Your Home donation for tutoring and test prep. The money raised will help them support high quality free and low-cost youth programs year round. Boston youth’s lives will be enriched through our donation and your bids.

The Y3K Tutor In Your Home owner provides weekly tutoring for my middle-schooler who is bright but struggles with social pragmatics and rigidity, making public school a difficult learning environment. His creative and non-threatening approach is very effective in helping my son think critically about his assignments and his teachers’ expectations. In addition to developing his writing and language skills, he is also able to feed his insatiable appetite for complex math by expanding on the basic concepts covered in the school curriculum.
