We had first engaged Y3K Tutor In Your Home five years ago, when our son rose at 1:00 AM one night and said he’d felt as if he were “drowning in school”. This is despite the excellent LD assistance provided in his middle school. During their first meeting, I could hear my shy son actually giggling with the tutor and his confidence, outlook, and grades all began to shift seismically.
Today, that frightened little boy is a confident and fully engaged student who graduated high school this past spring and on the honor roll. As he and his tutor have built a wonderful relationship of trust and friendship, we intend this relationship to continue through college. There will be a silent auction for the Newton-Wellesley Hospital Annual Gala. This year’s event will help shed light on opioid and substance use disorders in our community. The owner has been tutoring my kids – now in 10th grade – since they were in elementary school.
