When trick or treating, kids should carry a flashlight. Make sure to check the batteries way beforehand. Don’t assume the flashlight works and then have your child find out it doesn’t once they are already out in the dark street.

On October 22nd, approximately 200+ members of the Needham, MA community will come together to help bridge the opportunity gap for income eligible Needham Public School students through mentoring and educational support. Needham Steps Up will be having a dinner and silent auction at the Sheraton Needham Hotel at 6:30 pm.
Y3K Tutor In Your Home is proud to support another Needham, MA organization that helps young people. We plan to donate our tutoring and test prep services to the Needham Steps Up auction. Make sure you look for us at the auction. By bidding on the Y3K Tutor In Your Home’s Needham tutoring and test prep donation, you can help fund mentors for the children who need it most. Together we may make college and post-secondary success a reality for the Needham students who qualify as low income.

Prior to a parent-teacher meeting, talk to your child to find out if they have any issues they would like discussed. This would include any social, bullying or learning style issues. Weston Education Enrichment Fund Committee’s (WEEFC’s) Annual Autumn Auction will take place this year on Saturday, October 20 at 6:00 pm. Again Y3K Tutor In Your Home will be donating free tutoring to this important Weston fundraising auction that is being held at the Rivers School. Besides the auction, this event will feature cocktails, dinner, and dancing. All proceeds from this event will be used to fund enrichment programming benefiting each and every student in the Weston Public Schools pre-K through grade 12.
Feel free to pick up some Y3K Tutor In Your Home tutoring while supporting the Weston Public Schools and having a great time. We hope you will enjoy this fun evening while helping WEEFC and the Weston Public Schools. This is another great event that we feel honored to be a part of.

The animals need your help. You can make a difference for the Animal Rescue League of Boston’s animal shelters. Please help Y3K Tutor In Your Home aid abused and stray animals. You will have the opportunity to help dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and others. Please donate old or new towels, blankets, office supplies, and animal toys. Items will be picked up at your home between NOVEMBER 1, 2012 and JANUARY 1, 2013.
Please also tell all of your neighbors, friends and family. We will pick up from anyone regardless if they use our tutoring or not. We will be picking up items located in Brookline, Dover, Natick, Needham, Newton, Sudbury, Wayland, Wellesley, and Weston MA. There will also be drop off locations for those living outside of these towns conveniently located in Natick and Needham, MA.
