Designate a safe place in the house to store papers that are not currently needed at school anymore. They may be useful in the future. The papers could be used to study for a test later in the year. Sometimes a teacher may make a mistake in their gradebook and mark that an assignment wasn’t turned in when it really was. By saving these papers, your student can then prove they actually did do the work.
Disruptive students lessen teacher effectiveness. Talk to the principal if your student is in a class with bad behavior that wastes class time.
