Sometimes a student tries their best but still receives a poor grade on their report card. Some questions to ask are:
Is the class too large for your student to get the individualized attention they may require?
Could the time of day of the class have an effect on your student? (For example: early morning, before lunch, or after gym)

There are some students that want to do well on tests, but do not know the actual process of how to study. Learning study skills will allow your student to be able to demonstrate their understanding on tests and raise their grades.
Once again Y3K Tutor In Your Home gives back to the community. This time we are donating our tutoring and test prep services to Family Promise Metrowest for their fall fundraiser, “Keep The Promise”. Carter Nursery School of Needham MA’s only fundraiser will take place this coming Saturday. The event is a late winter highlight for residents of Needham and surrounding communities. In addition to games and activities, the Carnival generates excitement through a silent auction. Make sure you bid on the Y3K Tutor In Your Home tutoring and test prep certificate at the auction. Proceeds from this Carnival help pay for enrichment programs and scholarships for families in need. We at Y3K Tutor In Your Home are glad to be able to help this worthy cause.
After students complete the new PARCC test trial run in the spring of 2014, the test results will not be released to students or parents. In fact the results will not count toward state or federal school district grades. Apparently the test results will only be used by state officials when they vote in the fall of 2015 on whether to adopt the new PARCC tests permanently.
