HOPE Sudbury Telethon & Auction

Y3K Tutor In Your Home will be donating some of our Sudbury tutoring and test prep expertise to the Hope Sudbury Telethon & Auction. This year the Hope Sudbury Telethon & Auction will be airing on Sudbury TV (Comcast 8/Verizon 31) and also streamed live online. Instead of waiting for the Y3K Tutor In Your Home Sudbury tutoring and test prep donation to air live, feel free to check us out in the Hope Sudbury Auction Guide. Under the “Kid’s Stuff” section on page 38 you will find the Y3K Tutor In Your Home tutoring donation. Look for #750 and make sure you bid for our tutoring services on November 3rd.

The money raised from the Hope Sudbury Telethon & Auction will be used to fund their signature program, the Hope Fund. The Hope Fund supports Sudbury residents who are struggling financially. In fact in 2011 alone, 69 Sudbury families turned to the Hope Fund for support. Together Y3K Tutor In Your Home and your auction bids can help bring out the best in the Sudbury community while supporting others in need.

SAT Math Tutor

Y3K Tutor In Your Home offers tutoring for the math section of the SAT. The test prep support we provide for the SAT math section includes concepts in math to attain more correct answers. Our tutoring helps students become familiar with the subject knowledge needed to be successful for the SAT math standardized test.

Parent-Teacher Meeting: Child Involvement & Tutoring

Prior to a parent-teacher meeting, talk to your child to find out if they have any issues they would like discussed. This would include any social, bullying or learning style issues. Sometimes kids will disclose some of this information to their tutor, so you may want to ask us for some feedback too.

10th Annual Animal Rescue League of Boston Collection Drive

The animals need your help. You can make a difference for the Animal Rescue League of Boston’s animal shelters. Please help Y3K Tutor In Your Home aid abused and stray animals. You will have the opportunity to help dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and others. Please donate old or new towels, blankets, office supplies, and animal toys. Items will be picked up at your home between NOVEMBER 1, 2012 and JANUARY 1, 2013.

Please also tell all of your neighbors, friends and family. We will pick up from anyone regardless if they use our tutoring or not. We will be picking up items located in Brookline, Dover, Natick, Needham, Newton, Sudbury, Wayland, Wellesley, and Weston MA. There will also be drop off locations for those living outside of these towns conveniently located in Natick and Needham, MA.

Goodnow Library Foundation Silent Auction – Sudbury MA

Y3K Tutor In Your Home intends to make sure that it is around for the families of Sudbury for another 150+ years. That is why we will be donating our Sudbury tutoring and test prep services to the Goodnow Library Foundation’s silent auction being held in October.
We hope you will bid on our silent auction donation and together we can help the Goodnow Library can invest capital into the children’s area, technology, historic preservation, and community gathering spaces. Also through our auction donation and your bids, the library hopes to build an endowment to help sustain the library in the future.
